Q: What are pre-dispute/contractual/mandatory arbitration agreements or clauses?
A: These are all different names for the same type of agreement. Two parties that enter into a pre-dispute arbitration agreement agree to arbitrate (rather than litigate) future disputes that might arise. Many businesses include pre-dispute arbitration agreements in their business and consumer contracts. Likewise, some individuals include pre-dispute arbitration agreements in their contracts with businesses and other individuals.
